Totally agree with the new BBC Sport graphics. They look beautiful in HD, a simple flat design with the wonderful animations enhancing the design for me. If they could do something similar for BBC News it would be a fantastic improvement.
On a non graphic note, the set has taken on a rounded design, even though I don't like that they haven't replaced the coin stacked desk.

I like the new graphics on BBC Sport and the boxed logo works well. I would rather see the scoreboard in the full colours of the teams like the BBC had done before or like on Sky or BT but an improvement on the previous set.
Hopefully the new BBC font will be implemented across the network for a more unified brand like Gill sans in the 1990s.

As for the BBC Sport graphics I'd go as far to say they're the nicest graphics we've seen from the BBC for ages. Really nice actually and the animation are lovely. I look forward to seeing if they've refreshed the Final Score graphics which are pretty awful and outdated. If they adopt this nice clean look it'd be much better. Would love to see a red version for BBC News which seems stuck in the stone age compared to this. Does anyone else think some of the BBC Sport graphics are always quire small? Like the live bug.

Lovely animations on BBC Final Score, but the short names need a tweak 'LIVERP' is a bit silly.

Has the red button quality on Virgin always been that bad? Letters are blurring into each other on my TV, not sure if that's normal or their new font.

The image doesn't look as bad as what I'm seeing on the screen.

Yeah, L'POOL would look better, I reckon. LIVERP reads like Live RP.

I'm not a fan of the new graphics going by the Final Score screenshot above. I'm not sure what it is but it looks dated to me, and the font to me looks like a condensed version of Verdana. I don't know, maybe it's the colours.

Not sure the graphics are quite as nice as they're being made out to be. Final Score looks alright but still suffers from text being squashed to be more narrow in places, which I always think looks incredibly untidy. See Gateshead on the image above. Some of the spacing isn't quite right too (reporter name and location for example).

No need for that bit to be three lines, should be two:
PREMIER LEAGUE
Tony Husband at St. Mary's Stadium
