Whos your favourite presenter? What do you think about the new set and the programme now being single headed?

First Item:
Does anyone know who presented the lunchtime news this lunchtime(18/4/02)?? Also did they say who would be presenting the 5:50pm bulletin?

i expect he will be.

I am quite upset that the programme is single headed these day.
Bring back Roger Finn!!

What do other people think about this?

Well Roger is still there and knowing Sally she'll take a day off at some point, but two heads are better than one.

I may be wrong but I thought Roger Finn was on a break. Hence why he's recorded those food specials this week.

So he might be back in the studio yet.

Is Roger Finn the same person who used to help present Newsround years ago? Probably in John Craven's day?

The very same.

I hope Roger Finn is just taking a break; It's much better with the two of them. It makes the programme seem more friendly and down-to-earth. (Yes I know it's a news programme, but all the same...)

I also used to enjoy Lucy Jackson's what's on features (on Thursday or Fridays if I remember rightly).

I think the new set's pretty funky too!

Friday's, but it has now been replaced by Going Out by the looks of things, which started this Thursday, its a bit different and presented from the studio by the regular presenter.

I have emailed South Today and the programme is now "single headed" so Roger will only fill in for Sally. Also has Lucy Jackson always presented occasional Luchtime bulletins? When she does this does she also present the breakfast bulletins??
