BBC South East to opt out at 11:10 this evening.

For a South East Today special on Fox Hunting. The EPG says Billy Connolly is on all regions (and all nations apart from NI which has The Politics Show) so I don't know if other regions are doing anything.

I know its late but I thought it was worth mentioning because some people enjoy this kind of thing.

Its 953 on the SKY EPG BTW.

I think David was right to mention it here. A lot of us don't regularly read 'The Newsroom', but are still interested to hear about regional opt-outs.

It's a bit like saying I'm not the slightest bit interested in television, but could you post a precis of what's on TV Forum on a forum for mending washing machines.

All I was saying was that the fact that regional programmes are being shown late on a Sunday evening is quite possibly of interest to people who don't regularly read the 'News' forum. Granted on this occasion it is a news-related programme, so I can understand why it is being discussed in that forum, and I don't dispute tvmercia starting the topic there. Personally, though, I don't object to the fact someone mentioned it here - it's an unusual timeslot for a regional opt-out, whether that opt be to show a programme about fox hunting or Scooby Doo.

I was merely defending a forum member's attempt to give out what they believed to be some helpful information.
