BBC slowly giving up on CBBC

Looks like theyre having a rethink. Just checked back to see if any TBA's had been confirmed, and from 8:40-11:45 is now TBA

The confirmed schedule for Saturday 10th Feb is now:

BBC2:
6.00am CBeebies
9.00 Tracey Beaker's The Movie of Me
10.15 CBBC's Big Red Nose
11.45 Sportsround

There are no signs of any cut back in CBBC programming in this confirmed schedule. The early TBA schedules are trying to worry us

But that's clearly one week. They're not going to show the movie of Beaker every week, and Red Nose won't be on much. Granted, probably a few episodes, but not a TMi length series...

I remember that in the summer, Dick and Dom finished, and they had a week like this, then Mighty Truck of Stuff started so maybe thats coming back?

why has TMI finished so early? it should if been on for 30 weeks!

Why can't the BBC just go back to the very basics and see what they can come up with. My idea would be....

0715 CBBC - What's On
0720 CBBC - Animation
0740 CBBC - Animation
0805 CBBC - Animation
0830 CBBC - 30 weeks - Updated version of Swap Shop
0830 CBBC - 20 weeks - Updated version of either Parallel 9 or Fully Booked
1100 CBBC - Top Of The Pops
1145 CBBC - Newsround

Would the same format work a few years down the line?

Well it seem to work from the late 70's up to about 5 years ago when both ITV and BBC just decided to give up on children and wrecked the schedules so much that children moved on - I'm sure it could bring them back quite easily - as its different to what they ahve now on any of the children's channels and different to what's on the terriestrial stations!

Has TMi been recomissioned?
