Its not right for BBC to put their shows on You Tube, On thier own site is ok only if they can stop people outside the UK from watching shows online.

If they were planning anything I'd expect it would be more to advertise shows to international audiences rather than like 4OD (and remember the BBC is currently reviewing iMP [built on the same software as 4OD] to see whether they should launch it).

Keep up to date - OFCOM haven't given the approval the BBC wanted to the proposed iPlayer!

No-one takes all the videos off Japan Hero so we can't watch Boukenger. Rolling Eyes

Thankfully, OFCOM do not have jurisdiction over the BBC, and the BBC Trust can tell OFCOM to shove their report where the sun don't shine if they wish. The report is flawed and inaccurate in a number of places, but then what do you expect from a Gordon Brown yes-man like the OFCOM Chief Executive, Ed Richards.

Yes and No, but for the BBCiPlayer, I'm glad they are not.

Why? It would be BBC Worldwide doing so, and they would get a share of the advertising revenue from any adverts - how does it harm either you or any licence fee payer?
