Why do people not like it when poeple do not like BBC?

because it's all you ever drone on about. and what mich said.

I really don't see why it's so difficult to have all of Ceefax on BBCi - if it's so bloody good why is it so rubbish compared to Ceefax? And why can Sky carry it and not freeview?

If you want to cut costs then I'd imagine there was many a way that it could be done quite significantly..

* Close BBC Four and merge it with the existing content of BBC Two and BBC Three.

* Close CBBC and CBeebies. This can be - and already is - catered for on BBC One or BBC Two.

* Merge BBCi and Ceefax into one. Keep video stuff for sport etc. where it does have a significant use.

* Close Five Live Sports Extra and move its programming onto BBC Radio 4 LW, or the digital versions of Five Live.

* Close 1Extra and BBC 6Music. Both these can be catered for by Radio 1.

* Close BBC7. Again, BBC Radio 4 can cater for this.

* Privatise non-domestic operations.

* Merge sub-regional news operations, running them out of centralised hubs. Scale back to single-headed programming on the 6:30pm bulletins.

* Merge BBC World and BBC News 24. Organised properly this can be done.

* Cut back EastEnders to twice a week.
