However, now BBC Scotland - a channel most people in Wrexham, Swansea or Cardiff aren't really interested in, has it's listings in the main section with BBC Wales as the regional variation - and no "BBC England" listings at all - which is a bit crap considering most of North East Wales is in the Granada area and our local shop at least only stocks the Welsh edition!
Last time I checked the TV Times, under the ITV1 Regional section it would look like this....
And in the Regional bit of the Radio Times here in Granada on a Monday we have.....
ITV1 Central
(Central) 6.00-6.30pm Central Tonight
(Thames Valley) 6.00-6.30pm Thames Valley Tonight
I'll sleep easier knowing what time Thames Valley Tonight considering the fact I don't even live close to the Midlands or the Thames Valley Area.
In the Scotland edition of the Radio Times as there's not officially any Grampian any more they just list the two different news programmes together without any mention of who will be watching what.
6.00pm Regional news magazines
Scotland Today
Regional news magazine
North Tonight
Current affairs magazine
There is a big difference from that though to merging the Wales and Scotland editions. Not so much an issue with ITV nowadays, but still in primetime the schedules can vary quite a bit compared to the "network".

no one has touch the fact that during CiN there keep moving EVERYTHING around!
Last night a trailer for " The Grumpy Guide to..." which was being shown at 11.35pm as it said on the end board, however the BBC Scotland continuity ( as good as ever ) said " tonight at ten o' clock on BBC Two Scotland ".

I wonder if we would also be unhappy if STV did the same?

Last time I looked at a Radio times for the Midlands area, it listed both Central News South & Thames Valley Tonight!
The scheduling of programmes in Scotland isn't really an issue, unless you are reading English listings or expecting to see something based on a TVF discussion. Programme times are well signposted on BBC Scotland, and gone are the days when you heard "except for viewers in Scotland" on a promo or V/O.
BBC2 Scotland put a Network trail out just on Friday there advertising a program that didn't exist @6pm (since the Thursday MasterChef had been bumped there - this itself was a break, since they've usually just played that on Friday when the rest of the UK get the quarter-final and dumped the ¼f itself on Saturday morning).
Friday Nights are the worst though, with HIGNFY randomly switching between 9pm, 9:30pm and 10:35pm in-run, the aforementioned last Room 101 (With Hislop) getting "lost" for some crappy excuse for a "comedy" recently and Karen Dunbar blighting the schedules...
I think the BBC maybe need to think about reintroducing " except for viewers in Scotland " or this on the end board on trailers, as I keep catching promotions on BBC Three / Four / News 24 for shows that are either not being shown in Scotland, or one at some random time.
Once again the schedule is disrupted because of football. Thursday night - Dead Ringers can't be seen until 11.20pm. Mainly because the football is on BBC Two between 8 and 9, and so Crufts is moved to 9 till 10pm.
It is okay to timeshift programmes a little but BBC One Scotland and BBC TWO Scotland fart around far too much. They should try to keep with the Network as much as possible instead of tinkering around so much. Either that or don't bother showing the odd series or two!
The classic is when they move Masterchef Goes Large around the schedule... they normally show the final part on the Saturday in Scotland. So you have something like Saturday Kitchen discussing and meeting the winner/loser and then the programme follows. Most of the audience by which point know who has won and lost... wake up BBC Scotland scheduling!!
