I'm watching on Freeview from Black Hill, and BBC 1, 2, News 24 and CBBC are all showing anamorphic full screen (ie stretchy-vision).

Anyone else having this problem?

Yes I was watching BBC 1 Scotland and noticed that.

Not sure about picture ratios but we here in the W.Midlands (Wrekin Transmitter) have had rather a few problems with transmitters working on reduced power, Mainly losing BBC Channels in the afternoon and Sky and UK History going walkie....
I'd be interested to know if anyone else is having problems? We've had rather a few letters on ths subject.

Glad it's not just me. I phoned BBC Reception and spoke to an engineer who was convinced that it was a problem with my TV setup, since he was watching it on Sky, and both DSAT and DTT get the same signal, and his picture was fine.

Eventually I persuaded him that it *might* be the case that widescreen switching was faulty on DTT, so he went off to phone someone at Queen Margaret Drive.

BBC TWO Scotland as well (actually all BBC output except CBeebies). Really ruined Holyrood Live for me.. thought it was my software on the TV card, but no. Would've thought they'd have noticed.

Fancy giving them a call on 08700 100 123 and telling them, and see if they get the message? Smile

It's fixed now - I got a call back saying that there had been a problem in Presentation at Queen Margaret Drive.
