Hi i'm new here as you could probably guess nice to join the fourm. Anyways.....Why does BBC Scotland have the old Tumbler Music as opposed to the new version as seen on the Network.

Thought it was due to copyright reasons that the music was changed in the first place any insights to this. Any answers would be great

I'd heard that too, but one would assume that the BBC in Scotland wouldn't knowingly risk a copyright infringement. Perhaps there is another reason. I understand the new version was delivered to all regions/nations.

Anyway the original version is far superior to the new one.

Yeah would quite agree with you...I think that the new tumbler version has been broadcasted once or twice in Scotland. I remember seeing the new version when BBC Scotland staff went on strike and we we're with the network all day

Thanks for the reply anyways

To be fair Joe, this isn't really a train-worthy thread, unlike some.

I don't mean to be a kill-joy Joe, but I began a thread in the Media Websites the other day to discuss the use of the train picture. I was trying to express the point that the train is used as a flag to other members of an obvious troll at work.

I think in this case it was quite misplaced, as although George is a *shriek* new member, his question was both reasonable and articulately expressed.

Your action forces me to eat my hat, and being a baseball cap the brim is rather tough.

How I wish I was Carmen Miranda.

Oh no wait; what I actually wish is that the train does not appear unless its needed.

A-thank-yaw.

I'll second that, and look forward to hearing the answer to the question!
