Still game should be shown on Friday at 9.30pm when England is showing repeats

and so will where: Armstrong and Miller be going?

but don;t knock Still game.

According to the Radio Times " Scotland 2 December " - knocking into the next week. It's funny how they daren't cancel The Street and push that into next week.

Just like how the scheduler on POV said they didn't want to show What Not To Wear after 10pm because it was an " 8pm " programme, yet they'll move other programmes such as Watchdog, The Nature of Britain and Have I Got News For You? when it suits them.

If River City isn't commissioned to fill the Neighbours slot, this should be sending out a message loud and clear to BBC Scotland. But I fear not...

The Friday showing fo The Tudors disappears from 30/11, leaving just the late Saturday repeat on BBC 2 Scotland.

I'm not sure whether this report is good or bad news. Bad news in the sense that this could mean all Gaelic programme stay on BBC Two Scotland, good news in the sense that the BBC may recognise that pumping lots of money into a minority service is a bad idea.

3 hours of kids shows which includes Cbbeies
1 hour on a Thursday
that 4 hours and STV only has 90 mins.

Why is there any need for two showings of the same programme?

Because not everyone catches them first time around - and shows can build a whole different audience in their repeat slot.

Fair point, but I think I'd rather see the original broadcast in it's usual slot. As previously mentioned BBC Scotland shows Dear Green Place on Friday at 1035pm then repeats the same episode on a Tuesday at exactly the same time. River City now has an " omnibus " on a Sunday afternoon. It is also repeating its Scottish music series from Saturday evenings ( around 8pm ) midweek on BBC Two at 7pm ; yet its standard reply is that there are not enough slots to show network programmes which Scottish viewers are missing out on.
