Unfortunately they can't please everyone. There's always going to be a section of the population who aren't happy that something has been moved in the schedules, but it'll have been moved to show something for the other section of the viewing public.
Ah yes, the same old cry - "you can't please everyone, so shaft the regular viewer".

After TG in England, there was an hour and a half of repeats. Why couldn't the TitP stuff have replaced that?

So? Run a ten-minute Reporting Scotland, or if that's not an option, then pull one of the ten-minute Coast/The Planets/What the Randoms Did For Us/etc fillers out of the pile.

I think you're totally losing perspective. T in the Park is a massive event for BBC Scotland, and Scotland as a whole. More than half of my mates were in attendance - and even I (not the music festival type) have been several times.

Top Gear was shifted an hour and a half so that T could take prominence. No one lost out.

It was entirely appropriate scheduling.

Exactly.

I complained to them when they were shifting RC all over the place last year and was told it was due to their remit to show a certain amount of Scottish programming, and this meant they had to change the schedule from the network. I can understand why and as someone else said, if you have cable or sky, you have the option to watch network anyway. Confused

Would I Lie to You? well its moved to 11.20.

we don;t even have a Comedy thing now at 9pm on Fridays in scotland anymore,

why can;t there hold this show back and place it at a better time?

its still better than " its only tv but I like it" that was just lost to the mist of times of

Friday 00.10 even worse 00.40
