BBC Scotland to launch new channel

As mentioned on the original BBC News article, the channel will be known as 'BBC Scotland'.

Though it could be just what the name is now, before they've come up with a better one nearer the time

I presume the "news/talk" station will get the sport, similar to 5 live.

I'd have thought it will just be like the current Radio Scotland, just with less music. If the music station is digital only (which is likely) they won't want to get rid of all the music content from the original station.


There cant because who going to get the sport? and there is only two freq MW and FM.

And digital of course
