That's my biggest fear. However, hopefully they allow the channel to bed-in and develop. One definite strength from this move is the number of talented commercial journalists (from radio and STV) who've joined the BBC recently. The list is huge and BBC Scotland desperately needed a new injection of talent.
Can only see Scotland being worse off in the long run once they axe the channel but remain stuck with network BBC2.

Was at BBC Scotland today - the set for the Nine news looks nice. Built on the ‘street’ at Pacific Quay.

Does it feel BBC News or is it more a stand-alone style?

If it's on The Street, is that a similar location to where Jeremy Vine presented the graphics for the Independence Referendum from?
I think that might also be where one of the BBC Four (or was it BBC Two) Culture show replacements made by BBC Two Scotland came from at one point?

Stand alone, very different feel. Set is very open, atrium is lit up blue and purple. Big tv screen, curved sofa and presenters standing behind a tall desk.
