Alba is played out from Glasgow and shares a suite with CMTX. It is not part of the main Pres Area.

I understand why regional opts are leaving BBC2 Scot but would it not be possible to maintain regional continuity to avoid the Except Scotland problems with promos coming from BBC2 Network?
BBC 2 Scotland no longer exists so that problem doesn't exist. And BBC One Scotland will only need to promote its own opts, and not 2s.
Therefore no issue.

That will be a 'new' situation now that 2 Scotland has gone. I'll guess they'll have to go back to 'except for viewers...'

Very little live TV originates from Stornoway, though MG Alba have a studio there and there's a down-the-line news contribution camera. (I've seen it used on network news once.)
An Là is presented from the studio in Inverness, but uses the gallery in PCR C in Glasgow.

It's not a new situation, BBC One programmes are promoted on BBC4, BBC News and on radio too
