Also Radio Times has a Still Game cover - what have the rest of the UK got on the front?

Steve Coogan as Alan Partridge in the London/Midlands/Anglia edition.

Don’t mind the trailer endboards, but I guess they show that there are no plans for any sort of uniformity across channels.

Looks nice, well, I think so.

I agree – I like the endboards too, but it is frustrating at the lack of some basic house style or layout and that one doesn’t seem to be forthcoming. It all seems so disjointed.

BBC Four and the new channel squashed into one column in the Radio Times now. Reminds me of when Radio Scotland used to share the page with Radio 4 in the eighties.

They should have just given the new channel a place on a different page and squeezed it in with all the other Freeview channels.

Be interesting to see how others deal with it. Did RT ever include STV2 listings? I assume BBC Alba is listed in the variations.

Yes, and with it replacing BBC 4 on EPG 9, this won’t help dispel assumptions it has replaced BBC 4 completely (as someone in this week’s RT feared)

I'm assuming ratings for BBC4 in Scotland will plummet down a bit due to the move.

Wide text-spacing, a cut-out logo and lurid colours? It’s like the old BBC Two endboards have had an ugly baby.

Thee's a lack of a space between 9 and (SD). Also, if you're gonna list the platforms and not stick to the defined alignment of the text for that one area, why not just put another line in and call the lines Freeview SD and Freeview HD. There's too much text and a ghastly colour being used to make that endboard look in any way easy on the eye in motion.

The more I look at it the more I hate it.
