I wonder if high road could end up on it, that is a big winner.

isn't high road an ITV series?

I think technically it was STV - but yes, it wasn't a BBC production. In principle the BBC could probably acquire High Road - but I'm not sure that would fit into the channel's remit?

It full of repeats in daytime so why not have lots of scottish content then?

DVB Cornwall
Because the channel is authorised from 1900 only, with the exception of regular Political, Irregular Sporting and occasional Cultural programming.

Doesn't mean BBC Scotland couldn't buy it in. After all, BBC Alba have shown a Gaelic language soap STV made.

and a waste of time and money should bring back bbc3 instead and don't talk to me about the ''budget cuts''

I would say that BBC could do what other streaming channels have done online and make BBC3 an iPlayer stream (wouldn't cost much to run anyway)

Again, BBC wants to be in the future of on-demand content so it'll probably never happen.

The BBC is failing to attract young people to it https://www.a516digital.com/2018/10/ofcom-report-reveals-young-people.html

The problem is BBC3 isnt going to solve that, Family guy etc can be placed on any channel, Eastenders again what was the point of that to young viewers? What are you left with 9pm slot which many of the viewers did in fact watch online.

The Corporation is battling to have younger viewers and BBC3 moving online now looks foolhardy
