Did Central still run schools programming tx when it moved to Channel 4?
I vaguely remember hearing Central CA's reading out the address for the programming companion material packs.
But then would Central be busy tx'ing ad breaks in their region for ITV Daytime?

No, Channel Four took over playout from September 1987. Announcements were pre-recorded by Central announcers, primarily Ted May, and sent to Four for playout.
