Anyone found this odd, running the Cantebury Tales dramatization opposite "Seven Wonders of the Industrial World", itself a historical dramaization. One would expect those interested in literature would also have some interest in history, and vice versa. Wouldn't it have been wiser to stagger them both against less simliar shows?

(Yes, I know -- record one and watch the other. But, still, there are so many nights that neither BBC has something I'm interested in watching.)

Well not really. Horizon is commonly on at the same time as a drama on BBC1. There isn't really much difference.

No one wouldn't!

What's history of the industrial revolution got to do with a modern drama featuring Chris Evans's bird, the bloke off Minder and the bloke of Cold Feet!!!? Just because it was based on Chaucer doesn't make it history! Rolling Eyes
