Actually on Tv-Ark the use Real Player 8.5 which is virtually TV quality, as far as I know the ones on Tv Home are R7, but someone may correct me.

TV Homes' are mostley Real Player 8

They are? Version 7.0 according to my Real Producer! I have however downloaded version 8.5 and all subsequent clips should be that version.

I thought they were!
Anywaay, R 8.5 is an excellent bit of kit, the sound quality is improved 10 folds and it is verging on tv quality video.

Sorry, I've just realised there are 3 left to get, not 2! There is Look North Newcastle as well. I hope the stings can be captured

Does anyone know if Newsroom South East is based in Television Centre, or is it in its own building somewhere else?

Also, how come East Midlands Today is the smallest region, yet it has the biggest/best News Centre?!!

Really? I've encoded the same clip on 7.0 and 8.5 format but apart from the latter having a lower file size, I really can't tell any difference! But I'm happy to use it in future.

Yes, I agree - BBC Manchester have kept NorthWest Tonight's old titles for the other regional programmes.

I wouldn't say it was tacky, as Close Up North & North of Westminster isn't Regional News, so shouldn't be in the corporate look. I mean where would you stop, before you know it Panorama, Working Lunch, Breakfast with Frost would all be corporate.

Anyway NoW and 'The Super League Show' still use the old Look North desk of 3 circles, Viewers across the North can see one of the best desks at the BBC!

It just doesn't look right - it looks as if they're in the past!

You can have a look at the studio for Newsroom South East on the bbc's site:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsroomsoutheast

They have quite a few pics of the studio at Elstree, lit and unlit - are there other sites like this?

You mean webcams of BBC Studios in regions? If so,
http://www.bbc.co.uk/england/eastmidlandstoday/webcam.shtml
http://www.bbc.co.uk/manchester/webcams/cam3.htm
I want more though, especially N6!

If you didn't:
go to http://www.bbc.co.uk
Press ENGLAND on the Left hand side, and then the regional bit on right hand side.
Then there is every news room webpage available!
