BBC Regional News Clips

There are only five regional opening titles now that are missing from the TV Home site - Look North (Newcastle), Look East, Newsline, Spotlight Channel Islands and Points West, as well as the stings. Please can you capture them for the site - nearly a full collection!

I can get Spotlight and Sout West Today because I have relatives that live in those areas, so we got those covered!!

Have you noticed in the backgrounds of the opening idents you can see the rest of the UK which is quite faint.

Yes, I have noticed that! North West Tonight's is the best for that - you can see the width of the country in the North, and on Newsroom South East you can see the Isle of White. Although TV Home hasn't yet got Points West, that is good for seeing the background.

Isn't Spotlight and South-West Today the same thing?

Spotlight Channel Islands is coming (along with Channel ITV) soon!

Look North is already posted on the site, or is there another Look North?  

Yeah there is, Look North Newcastle.

That Look North covers the North East & Cumbria.

I think Look North Leeds actually used the Look North which Look North Newscastle had first, but yet when Look North is referred to many think of Leeds.

It may be the same name but there's no Peter Levy and Paul Hudson to make sure your lunchtime bulletin is just that little bit more entertaining than the rest!

I miss the banter between those two! They're also on BBC Radio Leeds around 10.30am I think and you can supposidly hear the BBC One ident music in the background!!
