You can always tell who's going to be on Breakfast weather in the regions, it will just be the weather presenter who is on overnight on BBC News 24. Of course, some regions have their own weather presenter, which I think is better.

The script is almost identical for most regions, you can watch two weather bulletins and have almost exactly the same script! The only differences I heard one morning was, in the Midlands and in the East. Smile

They try not to refer to weather in too much details, now we know why.

So far I've been able to find...
Look North (Leeds)
Spotlight
Midlands Today
Wales Today
Reporting Scotland
Newsline

There really ought to be a standard enforcible BBC policy whereby all regional programmes are online!

Even Newyddion BBC can be viewed online for goodness sake!

I wish UK Today could be (yes, I know it would be fairly pointless, but that's of no concern to me!) Smile

Well I know that NSE always starts with:
'Good Morning from Newsroom South East,I'm Lou James' Or whatever the presenter is.
Spotlight do it a bit more boring:
'Hello there,good morning'

Honestly!

Well, North West Today is usally the same. This trend was set by the long standing presenter, Nigel Jay...

'Thank you Jeremy/Sophie. Morning, Nigel Jay with the news in the north west'

Nigel has been sharing with Tina Bangs for a few weeks so she says...

'Thank you Jeremy/Sophie. Good Morning. I'm Tina Bangs with the news in the north west.'
