Once upon a time, all of the BBC's regional news programmes had cyan astons with red, bold Gill Sans writing. I gather they are now different depending on where you are, so I want to know how they differ.
Newsroom South East:
Name Aston:
Background - Cyan; Top Line - Bold, Red; Bottom Line - Bold, Black
Live Aston:
Same as national graphic, but extended to left of screen
How is it in other regions??

South Today:
Name Aston:
Background: orange (slightly transparent I think, but I can't get a very clear picture on BBC South), top line: bold, red; bottom line: light, black.
Live Aston:
Same as national news; ie suspended in mid-air.
I wish Newsroom South East could change their cyan astons, they still dreadful. Still, only a few more weeks to wait!

Re: Look North
The name of the person is in red bold. I think it's Arial, but I can't be sure.
Live Aston:
Same a BBC News one although extended in both directions meaning it clashes with the name aston. Never get to see the live aston for more than a few seconds at a time.

I've just looked at my fonts in Microsoft Word and it does look like Gill Sans - Sorry for that Cock up!
a) where is the location bar
b) how is the name justified. Is it in the same place as the national graphic?

Look North location is top left and it goes to about 1/2 the length of the page. I'm watching analogue so it may be different on digital.
The name is to the left and right of the screen. Just depends on which presenter. Is that what you mean - the board thingy with the caption of the news?
You say it is screen length, so where is the name written. Is it centre justified or left justified. I am assuming it is left justified, but with a large margin to allow for the live graphic.

Sorry m8, new to this jargon. Haven't got a clue what you mean. Maybe other Yorkshire viewers will know. Sorry again!
