Hard to tell - I just pressed the red button and the TV switched off.

Posting Tip #521
We need context

1) What platform?*
2) Were you trying to access the text service or a video stream?
3) Did it not work on all BBC channels?
4) How long did you wait before giving up?
5) When is "earlier"?
6) Why did you post the question now and not then?
7) If it's working now, why does it matter if it wasn't working earlier? (This is what's known as a temporary fault and, guess what, it happens from time to time.)

1. It was a DTT ( Free view )
2. My son actually noticed it when he was trying to access the CBBC Extra blog, the video services were fine.Just the text.
3. I never checked the other channels.
4. About 5-15 mins.
5. 4pm on the day of posting.
6.My phone battery died and because he didn't like what was on TV (Scooby Doo) he went on the laptop.
7.Just wanted to see if it was me and if so,I would report to BBC.
