BBC Radio on DTT

Just noticed that Radio 1 and others have a new look on DTT incorporating the BBCi "feel"

Interesting new appearance, though the image for the radio name takes longer to load. Presumably other radio channels have a similar look now.

Looks good. Pity Sky doesn't support these info screens on the Radio channels.

It can do, it's just not been implemented yet and still may not be.

It be better if the whole BBCi text service could be incorporated, but the service is tailored to each channel quite well, and actually pressing RED on Radio 1 offers you far more info about Radio 1 than pressing RED on BBC1 would give you info about BBC1.

The change channels feature is quite nifty too.

Radio Wales and Radio Cymru still in the old style at the moment though!

Also they've not changed the LiveText - Zane Lowe's show finished nearly an hour ago!

Did you wait long enough? Mine also shows that screen for anything up to about a minute before the image is loaded...

I think that the new BBC Radio look on Freeview is superb. I spent thirty minutes looking through, and I say it's about time!

Sky could do with sorting out the radio channels. Not so long ago on the Sky Customer Channel on 999, they were promoting that radio channels were now showing 'Now and Next' information. So far nothing though...

That's coming soon. Sky are moving radio channels to a 4 digit system soon and they will have full now & next.
