Of course I know that, and in my opinion it's a stupid decision to make - You should be able to look at corporation output and know it's the BBC's work instantly - not search for the little BBC logo in the corner. It's elementary branding, and it's the reason the rules were created in 1997. Generic and style can co-exist, and from what I've seen it works a lot better than some of the tripe that they come up with these days (e.g. BBC Regional News - The flying map titles and sets were a LOT better than the current era of every single region having their own interpretation of 4 different packages.)
