I hardly listen to Radio 1 anymore during the day, Edith is practically a re-run of Whiley's show (the repetitive playlist doesn't help). I'm also personally completely bored of Scott Mills, the format is tired and is increasingly just laughing at other people. Give Colin Murray that slot, the banter with Chappers would be brilliant and put Nihal on before.

"Next" box on BBC One just used the "old" BBC [no Radio] 7 logo, shifted left to boot (the red 7 was at the far left of the box area, with no yellow reverse-7).

Oh, and the updated Freeview DOGs look like a mess. They've shifted from a half-circle left hand side to rounded corners on a rectangle... and haven't compensated for the reduced width, so there's a black bar down the middle of the screen.

Plus, the secondary colour on Radio 4 is a particularly vile shade of green.

I doubt Colin will ever move back to daytimes - his late night show is just brilliant and obviously he enjoys it too from the enthusiasm he has for it. Also when he accepted his Sony award for the show, he mentioned in his speech that "this time last year I thought I'd have to leave Radio 1" which hints he wasn't entirely happy on daytimes

You missed "BBC Asian Network Radio" Smile [As the alt-text before the logo pops up has it]

See what I mean on the shade of green? Eugh.

And, while I don't have a good screencap of it, here's R4 from before for comparison, and to show what I meant when I said they didn't allow for the reduced width:

Ah so I did, here it is...

...I reached Radio 7 and got into listening "I'm sorry I haven't a clue" and forgot to continue.

BBC World Service remains unchanged, though looks slightly odd by comparison...

It's BBC 7, not Radio 7 - after all, logos don't necessarily have to tell you what something is actually called. Wink

Virgin Media also have the text screens on BBC Radio stations now, some screenshots are here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=661481 - scroll down the page.

Ah didn't know that, cheers, shame as I hardly get a chance to listen to his late night show.

[MOD SNIP: Removed most of the screen captures to save on scrolling, which gets worse if there are multiple quotes]

Why don't my freeview 'caps' look like that? I think these new logos are horrible and the colours chosen, well, I have been sick over them.

The only ones I like out of them are Radio 3 and Asian Network, the others just look revolting.
