Although the BBC logo could do with being smaller and next to 'Productions' perhaps.

I think those caps come from BBC iPlayer, that's why it has taht DOG.
Sorry, I meant the plug for BBC Three at the bottom of the screen.
In reality, anything other than the original BBC Three logo would look too untidy on the EastEnders endcap. BBC Three shot itself in the foot when it decided it wanted a logo that was effectively two lines big because it now means said logo will screw up any layout you feed it.

And they're still using a makeshift version of the first BBC Three DOG logo on that endcap. Though perhaps the new pink one would clash slightly!

It's about as clever as whoever recently came up with "BBC News for Radio 2"! For decades they can cope with just the logo and now everything in-house needs to be branded as from "BBC Productions"?! Does the department technically even exist?
Horrible design - why not some shimmering light effect during the rotation (like the new BBC Video) rather than a solid grey backing? And the "Productions" writing looks like an afterthought.
That entire end slide just looks a mess now.

You mean with the hideous pink neon DOG like this?
It's also rather sloppy to leave the "repeated at 10pm" on the credits at the end of the 10pm repeat!

It's not as bad as their archive and clip sales which are now sold as 'BBC Motion Gallery' which is an awful name especially if the archive is audio only!

If you're referring to Waterloo Road, its actually made by Shed Productions anyway, and theres no argument there.

Will this affect the nations and regions, or will all of them now have the BBC Productions endcap so viewers don't see that for example a Rochdale based drama is made by BBC Scotland.

As just a "wild stab in the dark" I would think it's because the organisation is called the BBC and they made the programme. What alternative name would you suggest?
He's saying that they've copied the ITV Productions name. How did you not understand that?

'BBC Productions', I wonder where they got the idea of that name from
