Interesting to see in the Media section of London's Evening Standard that 2.6 million people watched the blackout on Saturday. Panorama 10 days ago got 2.1 million. Perhaps it's a ratings ploy?!Smile

That must be very depressing for Panorama!

Blank??????Shocked

A nice static shot of part of the BBC Balloon, and some lovely Gil Sans text is enough for me to watch any day - well worth the £110 licence fee(!) Smile Smile

Yes but it wasn't doing much was it.
In Wales there was just a stockpile of crappy music constantly playing and some film about an owl.

Well considering that over 2 million switched off and never came back to the BBC1 movie, I don't think it was a ratings ploy, or am I taking this too literally ?

My lovely widescreen recording of I love 1975 had a 43 minute black hole in it. No apology, no caption. Just crash out and crash in
