BBC Points West slip up?

Right, just got back from staying with friends who live on the Devon/Somerset border and was watching Breakfast at 0630 just as we were packing to leave, was expecting to see BBC Points West and was greeted by the familiar (to me) BBC LDN sting and titles - then the full BBC LDN bulletin! Was there a fault at Points West or did they muck up the opt out and not press the right button?

Well I saw a bit of Points West at 8:28am and Amanda Parr had saved the day! She is brilliant!

BBC Newcastle got full LDN bulletin at 8.58.

Yes but she seems to keep wearing that red top!

Yeah she does. She used to do Breakfast every morning but doesn't do it as much now and has done the main evening programme a few times in the past few weeks.

She also did the lunchtime bulletin. Wander if shes doing the evening one as well?

On friday she presented the lunchtime,update, main and late bulletins of Points West!!

Yeah she did but Sally usually does that on a Friday anyway. Anybody got any caps of her or anyone else on Points West?

Amanda's great and I quite like Imogen Sellers as well lol but am not too keen on Susan Osman or Sally Challoner. As far as the men go, Chris and David are good.

I have to disagree Sally Challoner is great and Susan is ok. David is a bit annoying but I like Chris. I dont like Maurice Flynn (is it).

Just a minor detail - but on the Devon/Somerset border you would not have got Points West anyway, you would have got Spotlight.

Not necessary its on the edge of both regions.
