Well, I think they could promote it more, improve graphics and make it full screen on Freeview (but this isn't possibly at the moment, unfortunately).

Well they could do more than just repeat committees and readings all the time - how about having the BBC's higher-brow politics shows such as Question Time, TPS, Sunday AM etc on it from time to time - make it a channel about politics!
