To expand on that a bit - it's not so much that it's dull, it's more that the content is dull.

Today in the Commons, they're debating the Work and Families Bill, the Electoral Administration Bill, and Government support for small shops. I can't say any of those things really thrill me, and I'd hope that if anything important came up, I'd be able to watch it on the news tonight, or read it in the paper tomorrow.

The channel does serve a purpose, though - there are people who would want to see the Electoral Administration Bill being debated, and not all of them can get to Westminster to watch it in person (or perhaps don't have time to join the hour-long queue of tourists to get to the viewing gallery in time for the start of the debate).

I only watch it when there is something of interest to me -- that is, I find it impossible to watch on a "casual" basis when there's "nothing else on". Once or twice I've watched a Select Committee or a Parliamentary debate, for example.

Full-screen would be nice, too!!

I only watch it to watch Prime Minister's Questions in the evening when it is replayed as I can't watch it in the afternoon. It's the only good thing, it has heckling, insulting, and verbal jousting.

But apart from that I don't watch it, it's like watching a cheesy programme called Parliamentary Big Brother.

S4C~2 is a channel I also watch mainly because it has soothing music...and gives details of who's who in the Welsh Parliament.
