Just a minor point....
The BBC obviously don't think very much of the BBC News 24 coverage... i.e. the one we pay for !! If they are telling people to watch BBC World instead, you know, the one paied for by adverts!
Does this not strike anyone as a little odd?

Surely it is a World story, therefore BBC World will have priority over all resources.

Think thats probably how it works ???

BBC World has priority over things anyway!
The BBC put commerical ventures above the licence fee ones!
Perhaps they should do it CNN style?
The most logical way, like any news network with a brain would do it!
Join them together and get ALL of the resources!
Attach World onto News24 like CNNi and CNNUS do so they don't have to share.
It should not work like that at all, both networks are going to want to cover such a huge story and therefore they should link them both up, they have done it before.

Since this is a World story BBC News 24 should be with World on this one, the presentation is just magnificant, there are tons of people in the newsroom, they are playing out the full theme music right to the very end, even Mishal Hussain is in the newsroom talking to two overgrown men!Very Happy

Sky haven't even got a newsroom now and still managed to get faster coverage than any of the other 3.
Remarkable really.

They haven't got a newsroom on display - one still exists!

BUT Sky EXCELLENT & authoritative.

Martin Stanford is one of their BEST & versatile anchors.

Nine o'Clock news on Sky went badly wrong though. Introducing Tim Marshall in Belgrade, Blevins' Hilsborough package played out.
