They could have described the trailer better. Plus they should have shown it in 16:9 not 14:9.

There's a surprising about of dislike for widescreen in the US. Americans being as they are, they think the black bars at the top and bottom of the screen are cheating them out of something. (Instead of realising they're getting more along the sides.)

I personally love widescreen, because I love the "movie theatre" experience.

Digital TV might change that. But, the vast majority of TV in the United States is broadcast analogue. There's a lot of upgrading left to be done.

those silly americans. You can't get Widescreen TV's unless you have HDTV can you?

Anyhow why are most classier american TV shows (ER, Buffy, Angel, Malcolm In The Middle) made in widescreen if they hate it so much?

Any why isn't ER 4:3 safe. Silly people, Buffy and Angel are.

Yeah, to the best of my knowledge widescreen TVs are only HDTVs. Americans are soooo stupid sometimes.

so how is ER broadcast in the US as that is certainly not 4:3 safe.
