Scotland didn't change the theme - they kept the original soundtrack.
Good for them - it was much better.

The TV Room may have clips of both. At the moment that's probably the only place you can see.

As soon as I heard the original Tumbler music I thought it was uncannily similar to The Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim (which I guess samples something else). That was my only guess as to why it might have been changed due to copyright problems.
Of course if there was a copyright problem, surely they'd have pulled the music in Scotland as well - unless they thought no-one would notice what went on north of the border.
I suppose it's also feasible that channel bosses might just have liked the second version better.

You mean Gangster Trippin' , no?
It's a shame no-one ever caught the original Tumbler in full (I believe it was played out in its entirety clean once); very catchy it was. At least we got version 2, which in all fairness wasn't a bad piece either compared to some of the others in the set.
