Surely this is far too early for BBC ONE's Xmas idents! If it is tomorrow, it will be at 7.00pm.

I think that when the xmas idents leave the evil box may appear

Plus when are Breakfast putting their trees up, last year they has two huge trees decorated with simple lights and it looked great. I think that News24 should put one up, they can go to World during the night if some misrible people will be offended by the fact that the UK is a mainly Christian society.

Oh no,not this early-First Xmas ads appearing on TVs from late October,then people putting the Christmas decorations up on websites 24 days early (no offence

) And now in early december rumors of a BBC One Christmas ident coming earlier than las year which was at that time the earliest ever for the BBC (23rd December)

We'll have new year sales ads by the 19th!
(I think I just made my 800TH POST a good one! Yep!)

I genuinely do not believe they would stick their ident up this early! It's always been just over the few days of Christmas for as long as anyone can remember...

How tacky would it look if they did?!

Considering Liquid News tonight showed parts of the BBC1 Christmas trailer, there is no doubt that is what will be debuting tomorrow. There is no chance whatsoever of seeing any festive idents at this stage, certainly not until Christmas Eve or perhaps a day or two earlier like last year. Traditionally they have been shown for just three days.

Yes, and they showed the boring parts - telling us about the programmes, rather than the graphic design! (Which incidentally was in the |B|B|C| ONE design at the bottom)

Well it looks like I'm getting my BBC Videotape out again, the last things on it have been the last day of the old 2s and the new ones and trailers. This will be the first Christmas where I have really focused on TV Presentation, I've always paid attention but never been the fanatic I am now and it's all thanks to the TV Websites!http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/cheesy.gif

Oh dear I hope the first trailer wasn't before Diagnosis Murder because I missed the junction-Hopefully the'll appear before Neighbours at 5.35.

Doubt it - it will probably get it's premier before/after EastEnders tonight as it will be quite a long trailer.

I've got some old trailer bumpers from one Xmas year on BBC Two actually-In fact I can pinpoint the exact date,Wednesday 23rd December 1998.

Oh look-there's the Hellmann's Mayonnaise ad (Five salad bowls,4 turkey legs) on ITV1 just now! Getting nearer every day..
