BBC ONE Scotland or BBC TWO Scotland?

Someone was not paying attention just now on BBC ONE Scotland... did anyone else hear the mistake?

The older female announcer just said over the TANGO ident before EastEnders...

"Now on BBC TWO Scotland..."

Whoops... she forgot which channel she was announcing on! Does anyone recall any mistakes like this in the past?

Sounds more like a case of the computer playing the wrong announcement rather than someone actually saying the wrong thing.

She actually made reference to EastEnders as well though... something about nails... it sounds like it was live but that she just said the wrong channel number.

All BBC Scotland continuity is live, all the time.

One question I've wanted to ask regarding BBC Scotland. Where does it come from, Glasgow or Edinburgh?

It comes from BBC Broadcasting House, Glasgow.

Queen Margaret Drive, Glasgow, but not for long.

The new BBC Scotland HQ in Glasgow, Pacific Quay.

Whilst discussing presentation... I wonder if such branding as BBC ONE Scotland, BBC ONE Northern Ireland, BBC ONE London, BBC ONE East Midlands etc. will survive when BBC ONE rebrands?

They might choose this time to drop the wording. I would imagine continuity would continue to add "This is BBC ONE Wales" etc but it will be interesting to see how trails and idents are branded.

So did anyone remember any other on air mistakes involving references to the wrong channel?

BBC scotland disapper expect alot of unhappy people

I've noticed a few times that they get the name wrong during Ceefax. For example, "This is BBC TWO" appears on the EPG for BBC One Scotland.

I remember 2 or 3 Wimbledons ago when the news got shifted to BBC 2, Pebble Mill playing out a BBC 1 Midlands ident.
