In keeping with the PC theme of the dancers, has anyone noticed that the man in Windows, who appears with a grin, is he blind? I just noticed him holding his cane and his expression suggests he's maybe enjoying feeling the sun hit his face when reflected from other windows.
Just a little observation I haven't seen picked up anywhere yet and if correct, is very nicely done!

Would it be a problem if he was blind? Its not as if they are saying "oi look at me, i'm blind and on TV!"

I think you're right now you come to mention it. I've never noticed that before.
I saw the regional version of Kites before the Six O' Clock News and noticed, aside from the Yorks and Lincs remaining, that the cut out of some of the introductory action is awful. It is the same camera angle but it is obvious when they cut it out because the symbol suddenly appears and all the background jumps where the camera wasn't in the exact same place. A much better job could have been done.

Not at all, in fact it'd be a lovely touch to have yet more layers of intrigue and reason to watch, to see subtle things you hadn't noticed before.
The announcer cutting in randomly doesn't really work
It was worst with the regional one at 6pm, the recorded announcement is all over the top of it meaning the musical build up and logo form up just appears towards the end of the ident and can hardly be heard
