Actually, odd thing into MOTD there: for a split second between the ident and the MOTD titles, there's a black screen with '09:59:58:16' in small letters at the bottom left. Was that related to the ident, or the titles?
Other than the soundtrack, which is pretty good, Football is terrible! It's even worse seeing it on the big screen where the footballers just do the same movements over and over again at the end. The repetition at the start doesn't help it either.
I wonder how long this will last - is it going to be another Music Video (truly awful but constantly shown)?
I actually like that Football ident it's the first time I've seen it. But do you notice the footballs actually do little patterns?
I like the "Football" ident too. The music is good.

I think that was part of the MOTD titles; the bit we shouldn't have seen - we cut too quickly from the ident, but I think we were in the last few frames of the ident which would then either be a static frame (like Skateboarders/Tumbler) or fade to black. We should really have cut in about three seconds after that, when the music for the MOTD titles began.
Football I just do not like at all - the music is all wrong and the BBC One "pips" don't fit in with the bass stabs. There should have been a pause after the "Dee dee dumm" before the drum kicked in but instead we crash from one phrase to another without warning!
I was thinking. It would be cool if there was a "sun ident, filmed in the same place, with people putting the sun together, and with each piece the sky would get lighter.
