BBC One Rebrand

It's been that way for the last 15 years though.

Someone should take that montage and put 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by the Scissor Sisters over it...

I used "forever and a day" it has the BBC One theme in it so why not. 25.5MB is a bit big for a real player file...

Just watched the montage of the old idents, in some respects they won't be missed but there were some good ones, amongst the dross. I'll forgotten how stunningly simple Ballet was for example.

Anyway, football does appear to the weakest link in the new set, but I love Moon and Hippos!

Not only that, but all promos now have Northern Ireland on them too, although I think most have had "NI" on them for the past while (as late as the balloon look only local trails had "Northern Ireland" on them).

The announcer this morning announced the channel as "BBC One Northern Ireland" in every junction I saw - now that Northern Ireland's back on screen I would have thought they would be tempted to revert back to their old ways of saying just "BBC One" in most junctions and only using "Northern Ireland" before the news.

Has anyone got a cap of an ident from BBC1 Northern Ireland? I'm glad they've reverted back to the full name - one of the huge disadvantages of the red box.

Though now they have the situation of it being "Northern Ireland" on BBC1 and "NI" on BBC2!

Heads up everyone I've just noticed that we have another junction at 4.25pm for the news. Totally missed that before, i was getting ready for the 4.45pm junction into the football.

Saw the montage last night, and thought it was a really nice way to say goodbye. Maybe it would've been nice if we had a nice montage of the new idents to open up too though.

I've never heard that before. Do you have a link?
