I love these new idents really lively and modern for bbc one. I also think the endboards for the trailers are brillant I know alot of people don't like them but I do. I also like the way "NI" has been reverted back to "Northern Ireland"

Most likely. It's an awful ident. Definitely the worst of the set, and dare I say, worse than anything I've seen on ITV. Apart from that particular ident, I think overall it's very nice package, the animated logo works very well.
I also like the trailers as well. Personally, I liked them during the dancers era so I'm glad they've sort of kept them on, just with a different style.

Out of interest did you like Football? I switched to Northern Ireland because they tend to do something different with the idents.

I wonder if there is a promo campaign along with these idents - even if it's just something as simple as a general promotion for BBC1's autumn line up - perhaps with alot of red swirls about!

Like the way these new idents work on screen , so much neater than the rubbish dancers , mind you I don't know why we need to be seeing BBC one right the way through the programme promos - can it not be faded out?
That asides , I'm really impressed by this.
I happened to miss the late night closedown , so was there any special montages , sequences etc?
