How much thought has gone into that?
Someone in marketing must think there is enough of an audience watching Danny Dyer dropping his balls to be interested in watching the new series of Line Of Duty.
Otherwise, BBC One have just created a screen cluttering phishing exercise.

As someone who has committed the TV Forum crime of scheduling a promo DOG, it's more Media Planning in conjunction with satisfying Marketing to get as much exposure for the show. Love it or hate it, promo DOGs work.

See, I know there are plenty of 'dark arts' in promoting programmes, but I would have thought there was a better chance of hooking people into Line of Duty (geddit?) by having the promo Dog on screen, during dramas, rather than a fairly lightweight family game show.

One for the confessions thread, surely?
That looks downright aesthetically pleasing compared to this infamous disaster.

Still a decent audience for The Wall I’d imagine and fewer complaints putting it up during a throwaway game show than in the middle of a drama, where I suspect the BBC One audience are more ‘particular’ about on screen distractions.
(Cue them showing it tomorrow night during Bloodlands!)
