Sorry if this has been mentioned already but what's up with BBC One playout at the moment? The last two junctions have cut in late and been announcerless. The ends of programmes have been on the endcap too long, and lots of bits of black..

Any reasons?

Very weird. A few jumps at the 8.30pm junction in Scotland but I think that's my Freeview box (bad weather outside). Hopefully it's not moved the Sky dish.

Asa posted this in the EastEnders thread by the way...

Nice breakdown just before EE tonight. System threw a wobbler and held on the start of the African ident for a while before kicking in with the anno apologising and introducing EE. Ident runs (until end?) and then black for an age before crashing into the programme at the end of the titles.

Bet the announcer was thinking "I'm introducing this programme but God knows if it's going to start!"

BBC1 Wales was fine, no breakdown.

Ah. We didn't get any anno's down in the South.

Here in England we just had absolutely nothing between the last two programmes. Just 30 seconds of black then about 10 second sitting on the first frame of the next show. Then, eventually, it started. Red Bee usually save this level of incompetence for BBC Three.

It also seemed to be a bit late, about 9.03pm. Either this is usual BBC1 time keeping, or we will be late for the news tonight

BBC1 Wales still fine.

Looks like Collosus has crashed big time and junctions are being cut up manually.

Did anyone manage to capture any of these faults?

There was nothing to see, just a black screen!

The on air announcer has just apologised for the problems.

He's a great announcer that person... who is it?
