That ident didn't look real, like it has been speeded up or something..?

It was Capeoira before LDN on Digital, I didn't have time to look at South on analogue as I forgot digital was behind. The Wheelchairs Hip-Hop one was ok actually, from the screenshots I thought I'd hate it but it was better than the others I've seen and in 4:3 for a change because of old Herbie!

Talking of old-style trailers, last night I noticed the Learning Zone still using a pre-Nov 2001 style trailer for a programme on BBC2 on Saturday morning; everything centralised, |B|B|C| TWO written across in the centre! Just like the old days...
BBC Learning Zone is now one of the last remaining vestiges of the pure 1997 look.

Okay- my opinion as a professional graphic designer...
Weak, very weak... not suited to the platform... badly researched nonsense.
My opinion as an individual...
What the hell??? These (idents) are truly awful, and leave me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I don't need to see these extras on my TV Screen, and I MOST CERTAINLY do NOT want black wheelchair rappers and all the political correctness that involves shoved down my throat at will.
The music is bloody awful as well. I heavily object to rap music forming the cornerstone of my country's main TV channel.
Well done BBC- another branding disaster.
Keep complaining everybody. If silly people like this Hedgehog woman continue to be allowed free-reign over what are national institutions, we will have no British identity left.
ive played back all the idents so far, and approached them with an open mind - and i think theyre awfull. this nonesense about inclusiveness doesnt make sense - do we have to represent every section of society in the idents now - because if you include, say disabled people, do homosexuals have to be included aswell, then theres old people, every race, children etc. etc. it would go on forever
i think including any particular minority means that minorities that arent chosen feel more left out. then theres the sterotyping - not every disabled person is in a wheel chair - theres blind people, deaf people, people with mental difficulties - it is a whole can of worms that has been opened.
the balloon was the ultimate symbol of unity - one channel - one world. it seems lorraine just wants to make her mark, so in 6 months she can look back and say, 'the channel looks completely different to when i took over'.
and lets face it, lambie nairn would never suggest leaving a channel alone - because he'd be doing himself out of a job.
im not impressed at all - neither are my family who are not in the slightest bit interested in idents. could the bbc not have made a few new balloon idents and spent the rest of the money (billboard costs/pubicity) etc. towards a new series of something worth watching, maybe that would get people watching - or is that too simple?

Hello ...
Will BBC One have a new Clock when the BBC News starts
Here in Scotland we also had mad handstand dancers (I'm told it's 'Capoeira') before the local news at lunchtime.
They're still not growing on me. Hip hop just looks silly. And I don't know why they felt the need to change the text on the London box to LDN.

What's the one where they're hanging onto and rolling down the ribbons that hang from the ceiling? We had that in the NW before NWT. I'm gonna buck the trend here and say that so far, I quite like them. Not sure how I'll feel in a few weeks when I've most likely got bored of them though.
