Maybe, just maybe the BBC Press Office only publicised the awards that they had won?

Details on more winners on Digital Spy.

I think BBC One has got quite a nice feel to it at the moment, probably a worthy winner.

That thought also went through my mind.

Well, on-screen self-congratulations seem to be more-or-less obligatory these days (Calendar, BBC Breakfast, GMTV, BBC News 24...), so it wouldn't surprise me. Rolling Eyes

And of course BBC Four was sporting a 'Channel Of The Year' graphic on its idents until recently.

Life On Mars was great as well, although I agree with the rest.

Am I seeing things but Granada Reports winning an award - unheard of during Charles Allen's reign - shows how much he destroyed the company!!!! Does this mean that Granada (or ITV) are actually begining to pull their socks up and started to make television news/programmes again rather than just piles of cheap filling rubbish!!!!

Anyway good on G.R. and the rest of Granada's news team on winning the award!
