Yeah, CITV got rid of their idents when they realised 'why show an ident when we can plug Sebrina for a few more seconds!' They also have those naff 'Be part of it' - Sorry but give me CBBC any day! The way there's more than just the main presenters is great - especially today with them going to the UKool team, Kate on Newsround, L&K team etc.. etc. and the guy singing his heart out to the Maid Marion theme tune! Can't beat it.

They do show the full ident for CITV Tellytots at 20 past 3, at the end of this strand do they still show 2 show's credits above each other?

Oh, and the full CITV 'Weekend' ident (which could now be renamed their 'only' ident) is always shown just before SM:TV Live on a Saturday morning

I agree that CBBC isn't as ideal as it could be at the moment - but they're in the process of inviting tenders for a relaunch - amongst the 6 or so shortlisted are Lambie Nairn, as well as the BBC's own in-house team - CBBC's current yellow/black idents were devised by Lambie-Nairn and done 'on the cheap' when they suddenly realised that they were coming up to the October 1997 corporate relaunch and they didn't have any new idents!

CBBC's pres team are better than CiTV's, too, and they always have been. I'd much rather watch the brilliant Angelica Bell and the totally gorgeous Adrian Dickson than the annoying, screeching and fake Stephen Mulhern and Danielle Nicholls!

Well That's not really an ident,idents only last a few seconds. It's more of an introduction. Remember the old Starting ident,which used to be on TV Home? Exactly.

Now we are already way off topic, im going to change it's course a bit more:

I was talking to someone the other day about a program on BBC One which was about the making of the BBC Two idents. Well does anyone rember this? and does anyone have this on vid etc..? Or if not can u rember what they said, and how were they made?

It was on 'How Do They Do That' in 1995. I haven't got that item on video any more but I have got an audio recording of it.
