BBC One Idents and 1982 Breakfast Time

Well, do the two pieces of music sound similar?

A good friend of mine thinks they do.

I'm not so certain, myself.

A quick edit job confirms that it does sound very similar Breakfast Time vs Snowball

I don't think so - but Irish viewers will notice that the BBC One ident music theme is a dead ringer for the jingle used by Meteor Mobile Communications on its adverts.

Yep! Thought exactly that when I first saw the idents. will look for a link to a meteor ad. Didn't think anyone would notice really.

you have to skip to the sting right at the end

The main melody is also used in two Goldeneye levels on the Nintendo 64 - Surface II and Archives if I remember correctly.
