You know, I can understand removing the ident out of respect for the late performer.

But the balloon wouldn't have been any safer. It could have burst into flames and fallen out of the sky on to a nursery school (or something like that).

I think it's kind of grim to use the death of a human being as an opportunity to renew an argument over which ident was better.

Ballet was used into Look North on BBC1 North East & Cumbria at 6:30, so is it going to start appearing a bit more regularly?

The Tai Chi ident was used just before Spooks on BBC One Scotland. The Announcer just made a mistake as well!

She said Ruby Max... (paused and started to laugh), Wax Meets later on BBC One Scotland but first...

Oh how we love LIVE continuity, you don't get that with Minidisc!!

Very good but can't beat BBC ONE NI last night, as they joined BBC Three zone later than everybody else the woman cocked up big time:

"Bla Bla bla................Right now its BBC One on BBC Three"
Does she not know what channel she is on?

Update: Acrobats will be off for the rest of this week initially...nice to hear Ballet is back on NE & Cumbria. Any further sightings? BBC1 East Midlands had Tai Chi into the 10 Monday night.

No, not generally, although some regions may choose to ignore the official policy I guess.

That would have been a good one to see! Does anyone know of any classic continuity errors? Would you have any clips to share? Thanks in advance for any postings.

Well the Acrobats are back then. BBC NE & C, Yorkshire to name a few I saw at 6pm. North west and Others still used Tai-Chi .

FURTHER UPDATE: Acrobats has now been permanently withdrawn, my source has confirmed. The deceased did appear in the ident after all.

Well considering way back on page 8 Robert Williams gave the names of the three acrobats in the ident, I'd say your source is wrong:

We had Tai Chi at Six O'clock and Acrobats at 1830. Is that the last time we'll see it?
