Do the ECP's look as **** on HD as they do on SD (I'm in a SD only home), they seem to look more crap recently, the "Next" writing tends to look really blurred (the programme names generally look a little less blurred).

No ECP has featured on HD as of yet.

I don't remember where now but I seem to remember reading that BBC One HD will not have ECPs...

A trailer or a national sport headline or a national weather forecast.

Indeed, surely Ellie could pause for a second to let the regions opt and then go on to do a sport headline and quick weather summary for the HD viewers?

The report about the US election was very pixellated. Problems with the satellite sending the report?

I suspect BBC One HD will get the ECPs soon. They weren't on BBC HD until recently, but have appeared in the last few months so they've got the capability and willingness to use them.

Back to other things happening on the channel, News 24's Opt (or whatever they call it now Razz) was shown on the headline run in to the 10 on BBC One HD.

Looks like the DOG is indeed appearing on upscaled programmes then. I wonder if that'll change to follow ITV1 HD and 4HD's policy eventually? ITV1 HD had a DOG on all shows at launch but changed pretty swiftly.

Although obvious, it does seem quite deceptive to have an HD logo on during a programme when it isn't.

I noticed they introduced the "Ten O'Clock News" (as the continuity announcer named it) as on BBC One and BBC One HD. Slightly misleading considering it's upscaled.

Oh let's hope so to avoid the level of outrage regarding 'ITV's deception' it sparked on here.

Also notice no reference to the London presenter in the ident - did London get the usual presenter reference? The phrasing of the announcement seems to imply it went out on BBC1 SD as well as HD.

I'm liking that countdown. It's almost as if I can witness a channel launch every day! Laughing
