Edit: Or maybe they'll go back to pres so that they can cleanly swap to the other feed out of N6 that hasn't got the ticker.

The CA sounded pretty 'final' in announcing that they won't be returning to the golf.

Sky Sports won't be pleased - the new arrangement this year is that the BBC are the host broadcaster for the PGA Championship, and provide Sky with pictures for their live first/second round coverage, and their weekend highlights.

BBC2 needs a filler for 5.30pm.

They have already switched to that feed

EDIT: Funny moment in the weather just then, with the forcaster telling us how wonderful the weather is for the golf, and saying we can get all the coverage on BBC one!

Most extraordinary we now have the catchup countdown on Both Channels. The Hairy Bikers fill on BBC Two.

Jeez, who thought that was a good idea?! A couple of trailers would have been better.

Jeez they've been caught on the hop this afternoon haven't they.

They must have switched feeds somewhere though? - there's no ticker on BBC One but its up on the NC.

The red button and online stream is now showing 'coverage suspended following a power loss at Wentworth'.

This is going to look good for news channels doing reports on the golf who are recording the BBC coverage to use in their reports!

It seemed to be midway through a report
