BBC2 aren't taking a test transmission break.
They are, which will result in some people losing some Learning Zone programmes although it isn't officially recognised as a closedown.

I didn't see it mentioned on the Sky EPG.

Unless they are only doing it on Analouge.

i wonder how it will go out / come back in

maybe it will come in with the countdown although its unlikly.

CEEFAX says
1.15 - 3.00 BBC NEWS 24
4.00 - 6.00 BBC NEWS 24

while Teletext says
1.15 BBC NEWS 24
3.00 Close
4.00 - 6.00 BBC NEWS 24

which one looks better dya think?

I think they'd probably break away earlier than that - at the end of the weather, run the generic N24 logo over the break bumper, and run a couple of BBC ONE trailers, then go to the 'BBC ONE - FRIDAY MORNING' Card with a recorded CA announcement, before cutting to the testcard and tone ... what do you think?

Most probably!

Although a couple of weeks ago on Saturday they cut away from News 24 when Sian was reading a news story!!! You could of waited! Very Happy

The reason I asked a bit back about World was that since N24 and World share transmission overnight in the UK I wondered if they'd do anything like described it as 'BBC World News' instead of just BBC News etc...

Nothing at all interesting happened at the crossover. The N24 ident ran slightly longer than normal, but apart from that nothing. Sad

I feel like I've seen the one with the guy in a lycra suit blowing a kiss to the screen thousands of times now! The 'Cycle Forever' ad seems to have been around since the invention of the wheel Wink
